What size are the jars and what fits inside?
Each jar is 4.5 cm in diameter and 9.5 cm tall with a capacity of 120 ml. They are well suited to ground spices, dried herbs, seeds, loose teas and similar small dry goods. The removable shaker insert means you can also store larger whole spices such as bay leaves, cinnamon sticks or cardamom pods by simply lifting the insert out.

How does the shaker insert work?
The acacia lid contains a removable plastic shaker insert. For fine spices, leave it in and shake directly. For coarser or larger ingredients, lift it out and spoon or pour as needed. This makes the same jar practical for everything from ground cumin to whole cloves.
